As part of the usual resolution-creating that goes on at this time of the new year, I’ve resolved to write more about my writing, as well as to try and do more writing. So I’ll be blogging more about all things writing related with me this year.
- You’ll continue to hear about my adventures as a technical writer, because, let’s face it, there’s always funny things going on when you’re a tech writer.
- But you’ll also hear about my attempts to get some freelance work going, technical writing or otherwise. This resolution stems mostly from the fact that I’m making a bigger attempt to pay off my debt, and one of the first things they tell you on all those personal finance tv shows/talks/presentations/radio shows is to try and get more money coming in. So freelance writing is the way I’m going to try and do it. Plus if it actually allows me the luxury of making more than at my day job, I’ll definitely be going for that!
